Easy to maintain
Compatible with all Ameda electric breast pumps, the supplied HygieniKit Milk Collection sets feature a patented silicone diaphragm that prevents milk and bacteria from entering the tubing and pump motor.

The HygieniKit is dishwasher safe and can even convert to a manual pump. There is no need to sterilise the Ameda Hygienikit tubing.

Use anywhere
The Ameda Lactaline Personal dual electric breast pump is supplied with a UK 3-pin mains adapter, and will operate effectively on battery power (6x AA alkaline batteries). Ameda's 12v adapter adds further versatility, enabling use in the car, caravan or boat.

It's a double pump. Double-pumping is believed to raise the body's prolactin levels compared to expressing on one side only, leading to an increase in the quality and quantity of expressed breast milk. It's quicker than a single pump too!

"There can be many reasons, both logistical and medical, why it is not always possible to get your baby to feed directly from your breast. Perhaps your baby is in a Special Care Baby Unit, or there is difficulty is getting your baby to latch on?

When such a situation arises, many women choose the next best option by expressing breast milk.

Expressing your breast milk helps to stimulate milk production and ensures that you are providing your baby with all the associated nutritional benefits. It also gives your partner and other close family members the opportunity of bonding with your baby during feeding, enabling you to have a well deserved break.

Human milk can be stored safely in a domestic freezer1 for up to three months2. Why Use The Ameda Lactaline Personal Dual Electric Breast Pump?

This is an efficient breast pump which is compact, quick to set up, very portable, and easy to use.

The pump mimics what a baby does by helping with the 'let down'. It has two controls, one for the intensity and the other for the rate of flow. In my experience, having full control of the intensity of the vacuum action meant that I was less prone to any soreness - I simply set it to a level that was enough to extract the milk, but at the same time was comfortable for me.

Smaller breasted women will appreciate the optional Flexishields, two of which are included with each pump. Used in conjunction with the standard collection sets, the Flexishields will help create a better seal around the nipple – reducinging leakage.

The pump works either by mains supply, car adapter or AA batteries. A UK mains adapter is included in the price.
