The Ameda Elite double electric breast pump is very widely used in United Kingdom hospitals and maternity clinics.

Indeed, many mums who have expressed breast milk in the hospital environment will already be familiar with this 'the Rolls-Royce' of breastpumps.

The Ameda Elite is designed to give many years of trouble-free service, in daily use, by multiple patients. Its smooth profile makes it easy to clean. Basic assembly and user instructions are screen printed on the front of the machine. Servicing, if and when required, is readily available, quick and inexpensive.

Before ordering, mums who wish to express their milk in the home should give serious consideration to the Elite's smaller sister, the Ameda Lactaline Personal. In use, mums report little or no difference in efficiency between the two pumps.

The Ameda Elite and the Ameda Lactaline Personal share the same independent cycle and suction controls, and both breastpumps employ the same unique Ameda Hygienikit milk collection system.

There is some difference in the cost of ownership, however, please bear in mind that the Ameda Lactaline Personal is designed to support a mum who intends to express 6-8 times a day, as opposed to this pump, the Ameda Elite, supporting MULTIPLE mums who could express 6-8 times on an ongoing basis.

You no longer need to travel to pick up your hire pump - we deliver!

Pricing

£55.00 for an initial 30 days rental, then £35.00 for each subsequent hire period of up to 30 days.

Two new Ameda Eco milk collection sets will be supplied with the pump, sterile, and ready-to-use immediately. You will not need anything else in order to use the system, but we recommend that you have either a steam or cold-water (ie Milton) steriliser in place.

Delivery

The pump will be delivered by express courier. Orders placed by 2.00pm will normally arrive next business day.

Delivery and collection charges for United Kingdom mainland addresses are included in the above rental price. Offshore customers (including Isle of Wight, Scottish Islands, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland) will need to pay an additional amount to fully cover shipping costs.

If you've arrived at the point where you need to obtain a 'hospital-grade' breast pump, whether for business, clinical or personal use, the Ameda Elite is an excellent investment.

The Ameda Elite breast pump is guaranteed for two years from date of purchase. Breast milk collection sets (for single patient use) are considered to be 'consumables' and parts should be replaced as the need arises. We can advise on likely consumables requirements.

Maintenance requirements are low. Once the warranty has expired, a full service, should you need it, currently costs £85.00 including collection and return to the client's UK mainland address.

Breastfeeding and Work

Where companies are planning to accommodate a breastfeeding mother in the workplace, we are able to advise on equipment requirements, environment, safe human milk storage (including sterile anti-tamper bottles) and supplies. We are the first UK company to offer this unique service.
