The unique patented product design and silicone diaphragm help ensure the purity of mothers expressed milk by preventing potential contaminants from contacting collected breast milk. The built in splash guard protection directs milk flow away from the breast and milk backup is stopped so tubing and pump require little to no maintenance. The HygieniKit is easy to clean and sterilise but must not be microwaved.

The HygieniKit is compatible with all Ameda electric breastpumps and is backwards compatible with earlier silver finish (Hollister) hospital grade pumps.

Like the HygieniKit, the new Ameda Eco collection set is compatible with all Ameda electric breastpumps and is backwards compatible with earlier silver finish (Hollister) hospital grade pumps.

The plastics employed in this latest version make it far less prone to accidental damage and 'cracking' around the screw-thread, often occurring when the original version is mis-handled or overtightened onto the bottle.

In addition, the Eco breastshield and bottle are autoclavable.

Compatible with all standard 'narrow-necked' bottles, such as Ameda, Axifeed, Lansinoh or Medela. Genuine Ameda part.

The Ameda Larger Breastshields with inserts should be used when a standard sized breastshield (25mm) is too small for comfortable pumping. This product provides mothers with a larger breastshield (30.5mm) and special reducing inserts (28.5mm) to create an 'in-between' size... larger than our standard HygieniKit Breastshield, but smaller than the Larger Breastshield alone!
